 is currently scripting the tiein issue for War of the Independents, where his character EL VALIENTE, gets to rub shoulders with some heavy hitters in the indie comic book arena like The Savage Dragon, Madman, Cerebus, and even Too Much Coffee Man!He wanted some rough sketches of what the two main charaters of his tie-in issue would look like, drawn by the legendary Richard DOmingues of EL GATO NEGRO fame, and asked me to visualize what EL GATO NEGRO might look like in the ancient Aztec past, and here he is! We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
